Hey Anime Addictive fans!
It’s me, your Yuu-kun — aka Prince Sanatan Kumar.
Well… can you believe it? We’re already closing our 2nd year and stepping into the 3rd. Honestly, I still remember last year, on this same date, I was just struggling, hoping this whole thing wouldn’t collapse.
How did all this start?
Two years.
That’s how long this blog has lived in this digital world.
At first, it wasn’t even meant to be something big. It was just a small experiment, a place for me to throw out my thoughts about anime and storytelling. Nothing more. But somehow… it turned into something bigger. At least for me.
And when I look back to the very beginning — yeah, I still remember how it all started. In reality, Anime Addictive was just a subdomain of one of my old news companies. Just a small corner, no staff, only me. When that company got acquired, I didn’t sell Anime Addictive. This was the only thing I refused to give away.
And that’s where the story of Anime Addictive really began.
Long nights. No sleep. Just typing, deleting, rewriting, and fighting with myself — wondering if anyone would even care about my perspective. But post by post, something started to grow. It stopped being just a blog.
It became a place.
A place where ideas could live.
A place where people like me — and maybe like you — could connect.
And that’s how this so-called Anime Addictive was born.
The Highs, The Lows, The Weird Stuff in Between
- The unexpected hits: There were posts I thought no one would read even now, yet somehow they went viral. Those numbers didn’t just feel like statistics—they felt like proof that someone, somewhere, was connecting with my words.
- The research obsession: Yes, even the tiniest detail, the background lore, the history behind a character or a studio—I dove deep. Because if I didn’t, what would be the point of writing at all?
- The failures: Of course, some posts flopped. Some ideas that I poured hours into barely got noticed. But those flops taught me more than the hits ever could. Every mistake was a lesson in why this blog exists and why I refuse to settle for mediocrity.

Why This Matters
For me and for my team, this isn’t just about numbers or views. It’s about persistence, curiosity, and sharing a part of myself. The blog is an extension of my mind, my obsessions, and the strange, detailed way I see anime and storytelling. Two years in, and I realize that this space has taught me as much about myself as it has about the worlds I write about.
The Future of Anime Addictive.
this is only the beginning.
next year, the next series, the next post—it’s all gonna be bigger, deeper, and way more chaotic, full of drama than ever before. expect new analyses, deeper dives, maybe even stuff that makes some of you uncomfortable… because yeah, that’s the point.
and btw, this time we’re not just gonna stall in blogs. my team decided—growth is gonna be massive.
oh, and next year… get ready. our first web novel. our first manga.
and something really special, just for you guys.
Future can be Unexpected. so do I

Well… anime was the one who gave me a second chance at living. That story? I’ll tell you another time, maybe next year… maybe when I become what I’ve been dreaming about.
But yeah, this site… I just wanted to give something back to this industry. That’s why I created it in the first place. And you guys? You’re the ones who supported me through everything.
This second year is happening completely because of you. Just because of you. And for that, I personally thank you… from the bottom of my heart.
You’re the ones who gave me this nickname. You’re the people, the ones I respect deeply.
Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, for loving our blogs, supporting our blogs—even when we’re not constant, even when we’re not as active as others. Your support… it’s more than enough.
