Celebrating 3 Years of Anime Addictive: Looking Back, Looking Ahead & Major Announcements

Welcome to a very special announcement from the Anime Addictive team.

Today marks the third anniversary of Anime Addictive, and rather than treating this occasion as an ordinary day, we wanted to take a moment to look back at everything we have built together, everything we have achieved over the past year, and, most importantly, what lies ahead.

Anime Addictive has grown tremendously since its beginning. What started as a simple idea has continued to develop into something much larger, with new projects, new goals, new people, and new opportunities becoming part of our journey.

This announcement is dedicated to our future.

We will be sharing what we have accomplished, what we are currently working toward, the projects we have planned, the people behind Anime Addictive, and the direction we want to take over the coming years.

What We Achieved in the Last Year

The past year has been an important year of growth and development for Anime Addictive. Throughout the year, we worked on expanding our business, developing original projects, growing our website, and reaching more readers and customers both nationally and internationally.

Here are some of the major achievements we accomplished during the past year.

1. Launch of Addictive Otaku Hub

In December, we officially launched Addictive Otaku Hub (AOH) as part of our expansion into the anime merchandise industry.

Since its launch, AOH has allowed us to move beyond our website and content-related work and enter the world of anime merchandise and products.

We have been working on serving customers both locally and internationally while continuing to expand the range of products available through AOH.

2. More Than 1,000 Customers Served

Within just eight months of launching AOH, we reached an important milestone of serving more than 1,000 customers.

These customers came from both national and international markets, giving us the opportunity to expand our reach beyond our initial audience.

Reaching more than 1,000 customers in such a short period has been one of the major milestones for us this year.

3. Launch of Our Original Web Novels

This year, we also expanded into original storytelling by launching two original web novel projects on Honeyfeed.

Our two projects are:

I, who once dreamed of writing stories… Had become part of one.

and

Beyond Ascension Protocol

These projects represent an important step for Anime Addictive as we continue to develop and support original stories alongside our existing content.

4. Growth of Our Website

During this year, our website received around 10,000 new users.

Although this was lower than the number of new users we received during the previous year, we continued to maintain and develop the website while publishing new content and working toward reaching more readers.

Every new reader who discovered Anime Addictive became another part of our growing community.

5. Reaching 70 Blog Posts

Another milestone we reached this year was completing 70 blog posts in total on Anime Addictive.

This is a milestone that represents the overall content we have published since the beginning of Anime Addictive, rather than only the work completed during the past year.

Reaching 70 published blog posts reflects the continued effort that has gone into building and maintaining our website throughout our journey.

6. Expanding Beyond Our Original Work

Over the past year, Anime Addictive has continued to develop beyond the form in which it originally began.

From website content to merchandise and original web novels, we have continued exploring different areas and building new projects.

This expansion has helped us establish the foundation for several of the projects we are planning for the future.

7. Another Major Achievement

There is one more major achievement that we have accomplished during this past year.

However, rather than discussing it in detail here, we have decided to give it its own dedicated section later in this announcement.

This achievement is closely connected to one of the major projects we have been working on, and we believe it deserves to be introduced properly rather than simply being mentioned as another point on this list.

We will reveal and discuss it in detail later in this announcement.

What We Are Trying to Achieve Next Year

As we enter another new year of our journey, our goals are becoming bigger and bigger.

The next phase of Anime Addictive will continue to focus on growth, original projects, expansion, and creating new opportunities for our team, our community, and our readers.

We have several goals that we want to work toward during the coming year. While there are many things currently in our plans, we would like to highlight some of the most important goals we have decided to pursue.

1. Reaching 30,000 New Readers

One of our major goals for the coming year is to reach 30,000 new readers and new people through Anime Addictive.

Growing our audience has always been an important part of our journey, and we want to continue reaching more people with our content, projects, and future work.

Our goal is not simply to increase a number. We want to bring more people into the Anime Addictive community and give more readers an opportunity to discover what we are creating.

2. Adding Another Company to Our Expansion

Our second major goal is to add one more company as part of our expansion.

Anime Addictive has already begun expanding beyond its original structure, and we want to continue building that foundation by introducing another venture into our growing ecosystem.

More details about this expansion will be shared when the time is right.

3. Expanding Access to Official Merchandise (AOH)

Another goal for the coming year is to significantly expand the availability of official anime merchandise through Anime Addictive.

At present, we offer both official and third-party merchandise, and we are transparent with our customers about the products they are purchasing. However, one of our goals is to gradually change this balance and increase the proportion of official merchandise that we are able to offer.

We are currently working toward establishing more direct connections with Japanese importers and exporters, as well as licensing companies, so that we can improve our access to official products.

This is part of our broader effort to provide our customers with more genuine and officially licensed merchandise while continuing to be transparent about the products we offer.

We have also established certain standards for the products we sell. For example, we do not sell third-party manga or light novels. As we continue to expand, we want to maintain these standards while increasing the availability of official products.

4. Creating New Opportunities for New People

Our fourth goal is something that is especially important to us: creating new opportunities for new people.

Anime Addictive was not created solely for the purpose of completing the dreams of our own team. We also want to give other people an opportunity to pursue their own dreams.

We know how valuable it can be when someone gives you a chance.

That is why we want to create opportunities for people who are looking for a place to begin, develop their skills, contribute their ideas, and become part of something bigger.

As part of this goal, we are also planning to add new members to our team during the coming year.

We want to continue growing our team and give new people the opportunity to become part of Anime Addictive and contribute to its future.

5. Registering Anime Addictive as a Legal Entity

There is one more important goal we are working toward during the coming year: Anime Addictive will be registered as a legal entity.

At present, Anime Addictive operates as a company in practice, but it has not yet been registered as a legal entity.

The reason behind this goes back to the very beginning of Anime Addictive.

Anime Addictive was originally created at a time when our founder was not yet 18 years old. At that time, Anime Addictive began as a group of freelancers who worked together, and that collaboration eventually became the foundation of what Anime Addictive is today.

When Addictive Otaku Hub was created, our founder had already become an adult, which allowed that company to be formally registered.

Anime Addictive itself has a different history, and this is why it has not yet been registered as a legal entity.

Now, as Anime Addictive continues to grow and expand, we believe it is time to take this important step.

Registering Anime Addictive as a legal entity is therefore one of our major goals for the coming year.

Our Top 3 Blog Rankings

Before we move on to discussing our upcoming projects and the future of Anime Addictive, we want to take a moment to look back at our content from this past year.

This year was a particularly difficult one for us when it came to publishing blogs. We were not able to publish as many blogs as we would have liked, and as a result, the overall number of blogs published this year was lower than in previous years.

However, the blogs we did publish still received a response from our readers, and some stood out more than others.

So, for this year’s anniversary, we have selected the Top 3 blogs that received the most response from our readers during the past year.

These rankings are based on the response and engagement these blogs received during this year and represent some of the most notable pieces of content we published during this period.

So, without further ado, here are our Top 3 Blogs of the Year.

#3 — Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend Release Date — The Story of Mai and Sakuta Is Finally Reaching Its End

#2 — Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Season 2: Confirmed!

#1 —The Detective Is Already Dead Season 2 — Finally Announced: She’s Dead… But Her Story Isn’t Over Yet

These 3 blogs represent some of the strongest responses we received from our readers this year, despite the challenges we faced in maintaining our usual publishing frequency.

Best regards,
The Anime Addictive Team
