Well, another day, another anime update—and this time, it’s about what you guys searched for the most. 😅
Well, we all already know that Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Season 2 is on the way. It was officially announced to be in production back in September 2024, and we covered that announcement last year as well.
Back then, I was telling you that it would most likely come by the end of 2025. Well… it didn’t. 😅 And then, we thought it was most likely going to come in 2026 as well.
But that didn’t happen either.
Because now we have an update on when it will actually come.
Season 2 was originally scheduled to arrive in 2026, but the anime was delayed to 2027 to further improve the quality of the production. So, while we still don’t have an exact release date, the good news is that the second season is still coming.
A Quick Update on Season 2
Well, the biggest information we currently have is that Season 2 is scheduled for 2027.
We have already received a teaser visual and promotional material for the upcoming season, giving us a glimpse of Alya, Masachika, and the other characters who will return.
Well, like I covered in my previous blog in 2025, the second season will continue the story, most likely from the source material. And as fans, we can look forward to seeing more of Alya and Masachika’s relationship as the story moves forward.
And yes, we’re still waiting for that exact release date, and you are not alone on that. I was also waiting.

A Little From Me
Not going to lie, but my favorite character is Maria Mikhailovna. Okay, don’t ask me why, and she is not silver-haired, so stop commenting that I like only silver-haired girls. 😭
Okay, well, back to the point, obviously…
I’m still looking forward to seeing Alya and Masachika again. 😭 The first season already gave us plenty of memorable moments, and after waiting this long for Season 2, I just want to see where their story goes next.

For now, that’s all for this small update. We don’t have huge new anime news today, but I think this was enough for a small update.

Tell me, have you ever experienced this type of life? You know, a Russian girl transfers to your school, she speaks Russian, and hides her feelings in Russian? 😭
And apparently, you know Russian? Is that the fantasy, just hidden inside the name of a slice-of-life? Huh? 😭
