Hello, hello, hello. Well, another day, another anime update for another blog. So, we are here again.

Well, today I was confused, right? Like, what should we write? Should I go with a regular blog, an anime review, or an episode review? Then I thought, it’s almost fall, so why not cover the upcoming Fall anime season?

So yeah, another anime season is almost here, and honestly, it’s literally looking like our watchlist is going to become more problematic again. 😂 September is slowly coming to an end, which means the Fall 2026 anime season is getting closer and closer. And this time, we have quite a lot coming our way. When I say quite a lot, I really mean it. You’ll understand once I start telling you the schedule and when these anime are going to be released.

Crunchyroll has officially revealed its full 2026 anime lineup, with the return of your favorites, well, some of my own favorites too, completely new anime, and even some series that I have been waiting for for 5–6 years. And yeah, they are finally coming back.

The first Fall title is scheduled to start on September 26, with many more titles arriving throughout October. So, if you’re wondering what anime are coming in Fall 2026 and when they are going to be released, we’re going to cover the Crunchyroll lineup here.

By the way, just a disclaimer before we continue. This year, we are only covering the Crunchyroll lineup. Why? Because it was easier to research. That’s the only reason. 😂 We are not including some other series that weren’t on Crunchyroll, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t part of the Fall 2026 anime season. This article is simply covering Crunchyroll’s lineup.

So, I hope you understand that part. Just a little warning before we start.

Fall 2026 Anime Release Schedule

Well, before we are going to continue talking about every individual anime, first let’s take a look at the schedule. Then we are going to talk about which anime are coming back, which ones I am personally looking forward to, and what we are hoping for from this season.

The Big Returns of Anime

Well, as we started, some very big returns are going to come this Fall. And when I say big returns, I really mean it.

The Apothecary Diaries Season 3

Release Date: October 2, 2026
Studio: OLM

First of all, we have The Apothecary Diaries Season 3. Obviously, people love this anime, and to be honest, I kind of like it myself.

After where we left off in the previous season, with Maomao and everything that happened around her, it is going to be interesting to see where the story takes her next.

And honestly, isn’t Maomao kind of cute? 😭 Especially her cat-like behavior. I mean, sometimes she really acts like a cat, and that is probably one of the reasons why people love her so much.

Maomao is back with another mystery, and this time, the story is going to take her even further as she gets involved in new mysteries surrounding the country of Li. The first cour of Season 3 is scheduled to begin on October 2, with the second cour coming in April 2027.

So yeah, another season of Maomao solving problems that probably nobody asked her to solve. 😂

Black Clover Season 2

Release Date: October 3, 2026
Studio: Studio Pierrot

Black Clover Season 2 is also coming back.

Well, I don’t really have much to say about this one because, to be honest, I haven’t watched it yet. So yeah, I will leave it here.
I mean, if you wanted to say something about it, you can do it in the comments. But yeah, I apologize, but I haven’t watched it.😅

Black Clover is coming back with Asta and the Magic Knights continuing their fight, this time heading into the Spade Kingdom to save their captains from the Dark Triad. And I hope he will become someday the Wizard King, which is what he has been aiming for.

Well, the manga ended in 2020, so yeah. We already know the story is there, and now the anime is finally continuing with Season 2.

The Detective Is Already Dead Season 2

Release Date: October 7, 2026
Studio: ENGI

Well, obviously, this is one of the things which I have been waiting for a long time.

The release date is October 7, 2026, and this is one of the series which I was talking about when I said I have been waiting for five to six years. So yeah, she is finally coming back.

And yes, Siesta is coming back.

By the way, Crunchyroll already revealed another trailer for the new season.

and Yeah , you can see her in action. There were many interesting scenes was shown.

I’m not going to lie, it’s definitely going to create a lot of hype, and there were many mystery introduced by the new trailer.

The anime is being handled by ENGI, the same studio that worked on the first season, and it is scheduled to return on October 7.

So yeah, after waiting all these years, we finally get to see her alive .♥️

A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special Season 2

A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special Season 2 is also returning.

And to be honest, I never knew about this story that much. But from what I get, the story continues with Desir trying to rewrite the doomed future, with even bigger threats waiting ahead..😅

The second season is scheduled for October 7, 2026, and Crunchyroll has also confirmed it as part of its Fall lineup.

So yeah, another one joining the October 7 lineup.

Sasaki and Peeps Season 2

Release Date: October 7, 2026
Studio: SILVER LINK.

Then we have Sasaki and Peeps Season 2.

Well, yeah, I don’t know about this one as well, but the release date is October 7, 2026.

Sasaki and Peeps are quite nice, and apparently, people have been waiting for this to happen. Season 2 will be arriving on October 7 and continuing the adventure of Sasaki and his companion.😅

Well, actually, I have seen this anime, but not that much. So yeah, it looks like I’m going to see that properly this time.

Crunchyroll has confirmed SILVER LINK. as the studio for the second season.

Let’s Talk About What Is New Coming This Fall

Well, Fall 2026 is not only about returning anime. There are plenty of new anime coming this Fall, and I’m not going to lie, there are quite a few that look very interesting.

And there are some of them which I was waiting for as well.

Firefly Wedding

Release Date: October 9, 2026
Studio: david production

First of all, the one which I am waiting for as well: Firefly Wedding.

Well, yep, it is kind of a story which I saw the teaser for, and the animation looks so awesome. Not going to lie about that.

But it looks like the story is going to be kind of about a marriage situation or something, while also having some supernatural and dangerous elements.

This new anime from david production follows Satoko Kirigaya, a dying noblewoman who proposes marriage to an assassin in order to save herself. Of course, that creates a rather dangerous situation for her, especially because the assassin takes the whole “until death do us part” thing a little too seriously. 😂

And that is what I got from the premiere information and my research about it.

Not going to lie, this simple line alone made me hype about watching it. Let’s see what is going to happen.

Overgeared

Release Date: September 27, 2026
Studio: J.C.Staff

Then we have Overgeared, with the release date being September 27, 2026, which means we are going to see it at the end of this month.

Overgeared arrives a little earlier than most of the Fall lineup, but yeah, it is the starting of it. It is being made by J.C.Staff, and it is premiering on September 27.

It is being made by J.C.Staff, the same studio which worked on One frame Man. Well, joke aside, J.C.Staff has worked on some really good anime, so honestly, I am expecting a high level of anime quality from this one.😅😅

And to be honest, I don’t know most of the story.

But from what I found out in the simple line, the story follows Grid, whose luck changes when he becomes the heir of a legendary blacksmith, only for his stats to reset to zero.

And that is all I got from it.

I don’t know what exactly this is going to be about, but it is more likely based in fantasy.

Magic Knight Rayearth

Release Date: October 7, 2026
Studio: E&H production

Then we have Magic Knight Rayearth.

The release date is October 7, 2026, and it is a new adaptation of the classic Magic Knight Rayearth, which is also joining the Fall lineup.

I don’t know much about it, but what I found out is that Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu are returning in this new retelling of the classic series.

So yeah, another classic is getting a new adaptation this Fall.

PSYREN

Release Date: October 5, 2026

Then, my favorite—and the last one.

PSYREN.

We didn’t get the exact date at first, but yeah, this is one of the anime which I was waiting for.

To be honest, I personally have been waiting for this one, and now it is finally coming. And yes, it will also be airing on Crunchyroll.

And we finally have the date: October 5, 2026.

The new trailer also confirmed the October 5 premiere, along with the opening theme and additional information about the anime.

The story follows Ageha Yoshina, whose childhood friend suddenly disappears. He becomes involved in a mysterious situation surrounding PSYREN, a deadly game, and a strange world that he has been pulled into.

And that is basically the story about it.

Yep, it is a deadly-game anime, and honestly, that alone is already enough to make me interested. 😂

My Personal Thoughts

Yep, yep, yep. 😅

I didn’t cover every anime from the lineup. Well, there was a reason why I didn’t cover all of them. First of all, I don’t know much about most of them myself, okay? But yeah, whatever I covered here are some of the few highlights which I can talk about.😅

If I were going to cover every single anime in this blog, it would become way too long. Then you wouldn’t be reading a blog anymore; you would be reading a newspaper full of information, with knowledge that even I don’t know half of. 😂

Well, jokes aside, let’s get back to the topic—my personal thoughts.

Honestly, whatever I covered here, these are some of the series which I am personally waiting for.

And yeah, there was one more thing which I was waiting for, and it is coming on September 27, alongside Overgeared. I am talking about As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World Season 3.

Well, yep, that is one of the series which I personally love. So yeah, that is another one which I am waiting for.

I apologize if I wasn’t able to cover your favorite anime, okay? I will try to do that another time. Just comment your favorite anime, and I will try my best to cover them in the future.

So, what am I personally waiting for?

Well, I already told you about As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World Season 3. Then, obviously, I am personally waiting for The Detective Is Already Dead Season 2 and PSYREN, which is releasing on October 5th.

These are some of the anime which I am personally waiting for.

But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to watch the others. I want to watch Overgeared as well, and there are some others too. I mean, literally, every anime coming this season has something interesting about it.

But yeah, not going to lie, this is going to be very problematic for my schedule.

Why?

Because they don’t give us a gap at all in between! 😂 Literally, there are some days when we are going to see multiple anime releasing on a single day.

I mean, who the hell just makes a schedule like this? I mean, the scheduling job, huh? Did they think about us? We are just going to do nothing and watch anime regularly?

My Team Member: “Well, bro, isn’t that your job?”

Me: “But that’s a—”

My Team Member: “Are you going to cover every one of them?”

Me: 😅😅😶😶😶😶😶😶

No comment here.

My Team Member: “So it means you are not?”

Me: “I said no comment.”

How the hell do you just come every time whenever I write a blog? 😭
